A 3,000 mile journey

The monarch population is on decline, so BASF introduced the Living Acres Monarch Challenge to encourage farmers to plant milkweed in non-crop areas. The #MonarchRoadTrip followed the butterflies on their 3,000 mile migration to Mexico — an epic trip of a lifetime. To celebrate their journey, we issued travel patches to commemorate milestones and facts.
